Support Access to Counselling

Access to counselling can be life-changing, but it is not always easy to come by. Community support plays a vital role in ensuring that individuals, children, and families can access trauma-informed and trained counselling when they need it most.

As a registered charitable organization, Connect Counselling & Therapy Society combines public funding, community contributions, and social enterprise revenue to sustain services that strengthen wellbeing, relationships, and long-term community health.

Why Support Matters

Community support helps remove barriers to counselling and ensures care remains available to individuals, children, and families seeking support to heal from trauma, abuse, and life’s stresses.

How Contributions Are Used

Contributions help bridge funding gaps not covered by public funding, supporting free and funded counselling programs, reducing wait times, and sustaining essential services.

Who Benefits

Your support benefits people across our community, strengthening relationships, promoting wellbeing, and helping prevent challenges from becoming more complex over time.

The most direct way to support access to counselling.

Donate

Your donation helps bridge the gap between public funding and the true cost of delivering trauma-informed and trained counselling.

Every gift supports free and funded services, reduces wait times, and ensures care remains accessible to individuals, children, and families in our community.

One-time and monthly donations are available through our secure online giving platform, CanadaHelps, with automatic tax receipts issued for eligible gifts.

A tax effective way to make a meaningful contribution

Donate Securities

Gifts of publicly traded securities can significantly increase the impact of your donation while offering potential tax advantages.

Donating securities may allow you to avoid capital gains tax while supporting access to counselling services that strengthen community wellbeing.

This option is often well suited for donors who are looking to give thoughtfully and strategically.
