Group Programs
Connect Counselling & Therapy Society offers a range of adult group programs that provide supportive, structured spaces for learning, connection, and healing.
Group programs are offered throughout the year based on counsellor availability and community need. Some groups run on a regular schedule, while others are offered periodically. Availability and wait times vary by group.
We encourage you to contact the office to learn more about current offerings, upcoming start dates, or to talk through whether a particular group may be a good fit.

Fees and Registration

Connect does not discriminate based on financial circumstances and is committed to supporting access to care.

An annual intake fee of $25 applies to group programs.

A $30 group fee is collected for the full length of the group program (not per session), unless otherwise noted.

If cost is a barrier, we encourage you to contact the office. Fees can be adjusted as needed.

Some groups have waitlists, while others may be able to invite participants right away. Our team is happy to discuss current availability.
Weekly Adult Groups

Finding Our Voices (FOV) Trauma Group

Who it’s for: Women exploring experiences of abuse or unhealthy relationship patterns

Schedule: Fridays, 9:30am–11:30am

Format: In person

Cost: $30 group fee for the full group, $25 annual intake fee applies
Finding Our Voices is a safe, non-judgmental counselling group for women exploring abuse or unhealthy patterns in partner relationships or from childhood. This is a trauma process group for women ready for this stage of healing.
Topics may include boundaries, decision-making in relationships, anger, trust, anxiety, depression, parenting, breaking cycles of abuse, and healing after trauma.
Men in Change

Who it’s for: Men seeking support with emotional regulation and conflict

Schedule: Mondays, 5:30pm–7:30pm

Format: In person, open drop-in group

Men in Change is a process-oriented group focused on emotional regulation, communication, and managing unhealthy conflict.
This group is co-led by a male and female counsellor. Please contact the office to receive an invitation to join.
Men4Men

Who it’s for: Men navigating life stress, relationship changes, or loss

Schedule: Wednesdays, 6:00pm–8:30pm

Men4Men is a peer support group for men seeking to improve communication and relationships, or navigating separation, divorce, grief, or other life stressors.

Gateway to Growth (G2G)

Who it’s for: Adults preparing for individual counselling or seeking foundational skills

Gateway to Growth is a psycho-educational group that supports emotional regulation, resilience, boundaries, communication, calming tools, self-compassion, and readiness for individual counselling.
Roots of Self-Discovery (Men’s Trauma Group)

Who it’s for: Men who have experienced childhood trauma

This trauma-informed group focuses on emotional regulation, mindfulness, understanding trauma and the brain, and building healthier relationships.
Moving On

Who it’s for: Adults navigating the loss of a significant romantic relationship

Moving On is a grief processing group for individuals navigating loss through separation, divorce, or the death of a partner.
Parenting Skills Workshop
